LIST OF RESTRICTIONS AND PROTOCOLS FOR UNVACCINATED GUESTS
Although it is not a requirement for guests embarking in Miami, Florida, it is strongly recommended that all guests 12 years or older be fully inoculated with a COVID-19 vaccine (both doses if recommended by manufacturer) at least 14 days prior to boarding any Crystal ship.
A vacation exemption for a nonvaccinated guest must be pre-approved after an initial waitlist period and is subject to capacity control. Crystal will accept a maximum of 5% unvaccinated guests on each voyage embarking in Miami, Florida.
As a condition for sailing, unvaccinated guests are required to purchase travel insurance for cruises leaving from Florida homeports, effective with sailings departing August 2, 2021. Currently, we will waive this requirement for children under the age of 12 who are ineligible for vaccines.
Each unvaccinated guest must provide proof of a valid travel insurance policy at the time of check-in that has a minimum of US$10,000 per person in medical expense coverage and US$30,000 coverage for emergency medical evacuation and without Covid-19 exclusions.
The insurance policy must name the unvaccinated guest as the policy holder or beneficiary and may be purchased from a travel insurance company of the guest’s choosing.
PCR TESTING / EMBARKATION
Unvaccinated guests are required to undergo a PCR test no earlier than 3 days prior to embarkation. Proof of a negative result will be required at check-in. Those who test positive will not be able to board the ship and will be responsible for applicable costs related to denial of boarding.
PUBLIC ROOMS, PARTIES & DINING
Certain public rooms will not be available to unvaccinated guests including Umi Uma, Avenue Saloon, Pulse Nightclub, Stardust Club, Silk Bar and the Connoisseur Club.
Nonvaccinated guests will also be excluded from certain onboard events – those in Captain’s Quarters, the Captain’s Welcome Party and Crystal Society gatherings.
Nonvaccinated guests will dine in an assigned (socially distanced) dining area.
MASKS, IDENTIFICATION BRACELETS & SOCIAL DISTANCING
Guests will be required to wear a mask in all public areas except when eating and/or drinking.
Guests will also be required to wear a specific identification bracelet at all times outside of the guest’s stateroom.
Guests will be required to exercise 6 feet from those outside their own travel group.
Guests will be restricted from riding the elevators with anyone other than those in their own party.
In The Bahamas, as per the restrictions of the Bahamian government, guests will not be able to disembark the ship to go ashore in some ports of call.
In the Caribbean, too, guests may not be able to disembark in some ports.
